Rio Tapajós Dress
Blue-colored maxi dress featuring side slits, crafted from 100% lightweight organic cotton, and hand-dyed with indigo vegetal pigment.
Origin of raw materials
Both the fabric and the vegetal pigment were supplied by ‘Etnobotânica’. The organic cotton is 'GOTS' certified (Global Organic Textile Standard) which guarantees the organic status of planting, harvesting and manufacturing of the fabric fibers, and the hand-dyeing process with natural indigo pigment was achieved by our partner ‘Studio Inbluebrazil’.

Our vegetable dyeing is an artisanal process, so shade variations in the piece will naturally occur. Our natural pigments are obtained from cooperatives and associations of family agriculture in Brazil, which practice the cultivation and manual harvesting of the extracts following the norms and criteria established for agriculture in areas of sustainable development.
*Dyed garments may release color in the first few washes. Don't worry, this is a natural process that doesn't compromise the quality of your piece!
Sustainable Practices
Sustainable Practices
As sustainability is one of our guidelines, we pay careful attention to every detail. The choice of fabrics, the natural dyeing method, origin of the plant pigments used, the trimmings, the route and donation of textile waste to artisans after each piece is finished.
