Origin of raw materials

The maté vegetal pigment was supplied by ‘Etnobotânica’ who work together with family farming cooperatives and associations living in the Brazilian regions of the Cerrado, the South fields, the Sertão and the Amazon, abiding to forest management standards in areas of sustainable development.

The hand-dyeing process with natural indigo and madder root pigments was achieved by our partner ‘Studio In Blue Brazil’.

Our vegetable dyeing is an artisanal process, so shade variations in the piece will naturally occur. Our natural pigments are obtained from cooperatives and associations of family agriculture in Brazil, which practice the cultivation and manual harvesting of the extracts following the norms and criteria established for agriculture in areas of sustainable development.

Dyed garments may release color in the first few washes. Don't worry, this is a natural process that doesn't compromise the quality of your piece!

Sustainable Practices

As sustainability is one of our guidelines, we pay careful attention to every detail. The choice of fabrics, the natural dyeing method, origin of the plant pigments used, the trimmings, the route and donation of textile waste to artisans after each piece is finished.
