Parka in 100% organic cotton twill with lapel, two front pockets, belt loop for using a sash of the same fabric or belt of your choice to mark the waist, if you wish. Very elegant, stylish and timeless piece, and can be used open to decorate a look, or closed for a more classic composition.
Piece hand-dyed with onion skins, giving it an incredible caramel tone, in a manual process spread over four days and totaling 16 hours of work, going through the steps of deep cleaning of the fabric, pre-fixing the dye with tannin, pre - fixation of the dye with organic salts, preparation of the natural dye, dye bath, final fixation of the dye, in addition to washing and softening the piece.
We were inspired by the symbolism of the yellow jasmine flower which, with its delicacy, femininity and luminosity, is associated with elegance, grace and love.
Origin of raw materials
The organic cotton twill was supplied by ' Ethnobotany ' and is ' GOTS ' certified ( Global Organic Textile Standard ) which guarantees the organic status of the planting, harvesting and manufacturing of textile fibers. Onion skins were obtained through partnerships with restaurants in the state of Rio de Janeiro, being reused instead of discarded.
