Turmeric Cropped
Turmeric Cropped
Yellow-colored cropped crafted from organic cotton and hand-dyed with natural pigment obtained from turmeric. The garment design is beautifully enhanced by a sustainable patterned fabric.
Origin of raw materials
The organic cotton was supplied by ‘Justa Trama’ and has IBD certification (Instituto Biodinâmico de Desenvolvimento Rural, Brazil) which guarantees the organic production and the sustainable agriculture of the utilized materials.
The sustainable patterned fabric (70% recycled cotton, and 30% recycled Pet) is supplied by ‘Ecosimple’, and has both ‘Sistema B’ and ‘Ecolabel’ certifications, which ensure a lower environmental impact throughout the production phase.
The natural turmeric pigment was supplied by ‘Etnobotanica’, and the hand-dyeing process was achieved by our partner ‘Studio Inbluebrazil’.

Our vegetable dyeing is an artisanal process, so shade variations in the garment may occur naturally. Our natural pigments are obtained from cooperatives and family farming associations in Brazil, where they cultivate and manually harvest the extracts, following the norms and criteria established for agriculture in areas of sustainable development.
Dyed garments may release color in the first few washes. Don't worry, this is a natural process that doesn't compromise the quality of your piece!
Sustainable Practices
Sustainable Practices
As sustainability is one of our guidelines, we pay careful attention to every detail. The choice of fabrics, the natural dyeing method, origin of the plant pigments used, the trimmings, the route and donation of textile waste to artisans after each piece is finished.
