Pantaloon pants in organic cotton twill hand-dyed with onion skins, giving it an incredible caramel tone! With a high waist and straight cut, it has a belt loop, back pockets and a button and zipper closure. Super comfortable, timeless modeling and still natural!
Piece dyed in a manual process distributed over four days and totaling 16 hours of work, going through the steps of deep cleaning the fabric, pre-fixation of the dye with tannin, pre-fixation of the dye with organic salts, preparation of the natural dye, dyeing bath, final fixation of the dye, in addition to washing and softening the piece.
In Greek mythology , the amaryllis is a flower that represented haughtiness, grace and elegance, and it was its large and showy petals that inspired us to design this piece.
Origin of raw materials
The organic cotton twill was supplied by ' Etnobotânica ' and has a ' GOTS ' certificate ( Global Organic Textile Standard ) which guarantees the organic status of planting, harvesting and manufacturing of textile fibres. The onion skins were obtained through partnerships with restaurants in the state of Rio de Janeiro, being reused instead of discarded.
